Immersion Test

MIL-STD-810 F/G/H — RTCA DO 160 G

Immersion testing is a critical testing procedure to evaluate the water resistance of the tested sample. During or after this test, the performance of the sample is meticulously observed and any errors are recorded. Immersion tests can be carried out in accordance with the technical specifications of the air conditioning cabins and in accordance with military and civilian standards.

Our test center has a deep and wide pool specially designed for immersion tests. The water of the pool is balanced to be sweet or salty and at a temperature appropriate to the normal living conditions of the material to be tested. To ensure this balance, the pool has a controlled heating system.

The immersion test is usually performed immediately after other tests. Because any defects that may occur in the seals, seams and bushings may become more obvious after this test. This test is a procedure performed specifically under laboratory conditions and is designed to measure the effectiveness of the seal.

The importance of this test is that it helps to detect possible errors in advance by determining the liquid resistance and waterproof properties of the products. Immersion testing is one step in making your products more reliable and durable in real-world conditions. As STEST, we help you optimize the performance of your products in liquid with our specially designed test equipment and experienced team.

The detailed analysis results resulting from this test show the water resistance of your products and guide you in determining possible improvements. Immersion testing is an important step to maximize the quality and durability of your products.
