HERO Test-Ordnance Threat of Electromagnetic Radiation


HERO Test - Hazards of Electromagnetic Radiation to Ordnance is a test conducted to determine the effect of electromagnetic radiation on military ammunition. HERO Testing - Ordnance Threat of Electromagnetic Radiation is critical to ensuring compliance of military devices with electromagnetic compatibility requirements and the safety of military ordnance.

HERO-Electromagnetic Radiation Ammunition Threat Test is conducted according to international standards. The most common among these standards are known as MIL-STD-464 (US Department of Defense Standard) and STANAG 4439 (NATO Standard).

The MIL-STD-464 standard defines electromagnetic compatibility requirements and specifies how to perform electromagnetic compatibility tests.
