RS101 Test (Radiated Susceptibility Magnetic Field 30Hz–100kHz)

RS101 Test (Radiated Susceptibility, Magnetic Field, 30Hz–100kHz), conducted within the scope of MIL-STD-461 standard, is a frequency range of 30 Hz to 100 kHz for electrical, electronic and electromechanical devices designed for use in military systems and devices used in the systems and subsystems of these devices. It provides a test method to evaluate the sensitivity of radiation from equipment and subsystem protections, including electrical cable interfaces, in the range.

RS101 Test (Radiated Susceptibility, Magnetic Field, 30Hz–100kHz) is tested to see whether unwanted signals coming to the tested equipment via radiation will disrupt the operation of the equipment. If electromagnetic signals at each frequency do not cause any disruption in the operation of the equipment, it is considered successful for the RS101 Test (Radiated Susceptibility, Magnetic Field, 30Hz–100kHz).

RS101 Test (Radiated Susceptibility, Magnetic Field, 30Hz–100kHz) are tests to determine whether electrical and electronic equipment can continue to operate in high levels of electromagnetic fields. While the RS101 Test (Radiated Susceptibility, Magnetic Field, 30Hz–100kHz) is performed in screened rooms in the laboratory environment, radio frequency (RF) absorbing materials are used so that the electromagnetic energy reflected from the walls of the room does not affect the accuracy of the test.

The main electromagnetic interference emission measurements carried out within the scope of the RS101 Test (Radiated Susceptibility, Magnetic Field, 30Hz–100kHz) are: measurement of electromagnetic wave radiation, measurement of interference wave voltage, measurement of interference wave power, measurement of non-uniform and non-continuous fragile interference waves and low frequency network measurement of parasitic waves. In short, the RS101 test method is applied to detect performance deteriorations that may occur if the equipment in land, air and sea vehicles is exposed to radio waves in their environment during operation.

The RS101 Test (Radiated Susceptibility, Magnetic Field, 30Hz–100kHz) verifies the sensitivity of closely mounted equipment to radiated magnetic fields over a wide area and their ability to withstand them in the frequency range 30 Hz – 100 kHz.

RS101 Test (Radiated Susceptibility, Magnetic Field, 30Hz–100kHz) tests whether unwanted signals coming to the tested equipment via radiation will disrupt the operation of the equipment. If the electromagnetic signals at each frequency given within the limit values specified in the RS101 Test (Radiated Susceptibility, Magnetic Field, 30Hz–100kHz) method do not cause any deterioration in the operation of the equipment, the test is successful.

Within the scope of our STEST facility located in Ankara, which is an organization accredited by TURKAK, we conduct RS101 Test (Radiation Susceptibility) in the E/F/G versions of the MIL-STD-461 standard in accordance with the TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories Standard. , Magnetic Field, 30Hz–100kHz).
