Operational Voltage Range Test

MIL-STD-1275 D/E/F

MIL-STD-1275 28V DC Input Power Specifications for Devices Used in Military Vehicles The D/E/F military standard is used to test the suitability of electrical equipment used in military vehicles to power supplies. This standard includes the Operating Voltage Range Test to measure the resistance of vehicles to voltage fluctuations that they may encounter when the engine is running and when it is not running.

Operating Voltage Range Testing is done by applying a specific voltage level to the vehicle's power supply. In the Operating Voltage Range Test, the minimum and maximum voltage values required for the device to operate are determined and voltages other than these values are applied to the device. Operating Voltage Range Testing is done to measure how the device responds in any overvoltage or undervoltage situation.

During the Operating Voltage Range Test, voltage levels are increased starting from the minimum operating voltage of the device and the operation of the device is monitored at each level. Then, the voltage levels are increased again until the maximum operating voltage of the device and the operation of the device is monitored at each level. In this way, it can be determined whether the device can operate within a certain voltage range or not.

As a result of the Operating Voltage Range Test, the operating voltage range of the device is determined and how the device reacts to voltages outside this range is determined. Operating Voltage Range Testing is important to improve the reliability of electronic equipment used in military vehicles. The ability of the devices to operate within a certain voltage range enables the vehicles to be used safely even in the harshest possible conditions.

Operating Voltage Range Test is part of the MIL-STD-1275 D/E/F standard and is applied in the certification process of electronic equipment used in military vehicles. Thanks to this test, the reliability and durability of electronic equipment used in vehicles are increased and they can be used more reliably in military operations.

Within the scope of our STEST facility located in Ankara, which is an organization accredited by TURKAK, we comply with the TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 General Requirements for the Competency of Testing and Calibration Laboratories Standard and comply with the MIL-STD-1275 28 VOLT DC INPUT POWER SPECIFICATIONS FOR DEVICES FOR USE IN MILITARY VEHICLES standard We perform Operating Voltage Range Test on D/E/F versions.
