TSE/IEC/EN 55014-1/CISPR 14-1 Standard Tests are a guiding standard for electromagnetic compatibility tests of electrical household appliances. TSE/IEC/EN 55014-1/CISPR 14-1 Standard Tests are used to measure the electromagnetic radiation emission of household appliances and the effects that this radiation may have on other devices.

The tests performed within the scope of TSE/IEC/EN 55014-1/CISPR 14-1 Standard Tests include the following:
1. Radio Frequency Emission Tests: These tests measure the electromagnetic radiation produced by the household appliance during the use of electrical energy. It is determined whether this radiation causes a negative effect on other electronic devices.
2. Power Line Conductivity Tests: In these tests, the spread of the energy received by the home appliance from the power source along the transmission lines is measured. Errors that may cause electromagnetic interference are detected.
3. Electrostatic Discharge Tests: These tests measure how strong the electrostatic discharges produced by household appliances are. These discharges may cause harmful effects on other electronic devices.
4. Harmonic Emission Tests: These tests are performed by measuring the harmonic spectrum of the electric current received by the home appliance from the power source. Harmonic distortions that may affect the performance of electronic devices are detected.
5. Transient Phenomenon Tests: These tests measure high-voltage transient waves temporarily produced by household appliances from power supplies. These waves can cause harmful effects on other devices.

Thanks to TSE/IEC/EN 55014-1/CISPR 14-1 Standard Tests, electromagnetic compatibility and interoperability of electrical household appliances are ensured. TSE/IEC/EN 55014-1/CISPR 14-1 Standard Tests determine that such devices must comply with a certain quality standard before being placed on the market.
