This applies to heating appliances or mechanical refrigeration units equipped with an evaporator. Mechanical refrigeration units are intended for use with insulated transport equipment. Equipment used for the international transport of perishable foodstuffs shall not be classified as “insulated,” “refrigerated,” “mechanically refrigerated,” “heated,” or “mechanically refrigerated and heated” unless it complies with the specified definitions and standards. Within the scope of ATP Type Tests, these are the test procedures applied to calculate the cooling capacity of refrigeration units installed in vehicle bodies at the specified temperature level.

As a result of the scope extension assessment conducted by TÜRKAK, a total of 72 test parameters, including 23 test parameters in the field of automotive testing, were included in the accreditation scope, covering EN 10263, EU 2015/208, ECE R10, and numerous European Union standards.
