RE102 TEST
TURKAK Accredited Testing and Verification
STEST is accredited by the Turkish Accreditation Institution (TURKAK) and carries out its testing and verification activities in an independent, competent, and impartial manner in compliance with national and international standards.
RE102 Test (Radiated Emissions, Electric Field, 10kHz–40GHz)
The RE102 test, performed within the scope of MIL-STD-461, is intended to evaluate high-frequency electromagnetic emissions of electrical and electronic equipment (primarily in terms of the radiated electric field). The test helps ensure that equipment does not interfere with other onboard systems and meets electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements, supporting the reliable operation of communication and sensing systems.
Purpose of the RE102 Test Objective
- Measure and evaluate high-frequency electromagnetic emissions.
- Confirm that onboard systems are not adversely affected by radiated emissions.
- Support the reliable operation of communication and sensing systems.
Scope of the RE102 Test Scope
- Applicable to equipment used on military platforms.
- Tests are performed under normal operating conditions of the equipment.
- Frequency ranges and limits defined in MIL-STD-461 revisions E, F, and G are applied.
RE102 Test Method Process
- Electric field measurements are taken using log-periodic or horn antennas.
- Normal operating functions of the equipment are monitored throughout the test.
- Measured values are compared against the applicable standard limits.
Our RE102 Testing Services and Infrastructure STEST
- We perform RE102 tests in accordance with MIL-STD-461 revisions E, F, and G.
- Testing is carried out in our TÜRKAK-accredited laboratory, compliant with TS EN ISO/IEC 17025.
- RE102 testing is performed in our semi-anechoic test room under the measurement conditions required by military standards.
At STEST, we perform RE102 high-frequency radiated emissions tests under the scope of MIL-STD-461 in full compliance with military standards, using our accredited infrastructure and semi-anechoic test room.
