The MIL-STD-1275 D, E, and F military standards, titled “28 VDC Input Power Characteristics for Equipment Utilized in Military Vehicles,” define the tests, test methods, and measurement criteria applicable to devices and equipment intended for use in military vehicles.

As a result of the evaluations and tests performed, it is verified whether the vehicle or vehicle-mounted equipment complies with the requirements of the MIL-STD-1275 D/E/F standard.

The principal tests conducted within the scope of the MIL-STD-1275 D/E/F standard are listed below:

  • Injected Voltage Spikes Test

  • Operational Voltage Range Test
  • Reverse Polarity Test
  • Starting Operation Test
  • Voltage Ripple Test

At our STEST facility located in Ankara, which is accredited by TÜRKAK, tests are performed in accordance with the TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard, “General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories,” for the D, E, and F versions of the MIL-STD-1275 “28 VDC Input Power Characteristics for Equipment Utilized in Military Vehicles” standard.
