LDC102 VOLTAGE STEADY STATE LIMITS TEST
LDC102 Voltage Steady State Limits Test
The MIL-STD-704 Aircraft Electric Power Characteristics standard, prepared by the U.S. Department of Defense, defines electrical requirements for military aircraft and airborne equipment, covering parameters such as voltage, frequency, phase, ripple, and maximum current. The most recent revision is MIL-STD-704F Change 1, published in 2016. In addition to its use by the U.S. military and its contractors, MIL-STD-704 is widely recognized worldwide for assessing the conformity of military aircraft systems and equipment.
Objective Purpose
- To verify that 28 VDC utilization equipment operates correctly at the Normal Low Steady State (NLSS) and Normal High Steady State (NHSS) limits.
Test Scope Scope
- Application of voltage at NLSS and NHSS limits for a minimum duration of 30 minutes.
Technical Approach Process
- The utilization equipment shall maintain performance at the specified steady-state voltage limits, demonstrate recovery (restart) behavior as required, and shall not be damaged.
Typical Applications Use
- Military aircraft electrical systems and airborne equipment operating on a 28 VDC power architecture.
At our STEST facility in Ankara, accredited by TURKAK, the LDC102 Voltage Steady State Limits Test is performed within the scope of MIL-STD-704 in accordance with TS EN ISO/IEC 17025.
