LDC101 LOAD MEASUREMENTS TEST
LDC101 Load Measurements Test
The MIL-STD-704 Aircraft Electric Power Characteristics standard, published by the U.S. Department of Defense, defines the requirements used to assess the compatibility of equipment installed on military aircraft under specified voltage, frequency, phase, ripple, and current conditions. The LDC101 Load Measurements Test, performed within the scope of this standard, is applied to verify that 28 VDC utilization equipment meets the required load limits, inrush current, and current spectrum requirements.
Objective Purpose
- To verify that 28 VDC utilization equipment complies with the specified load limits.
- To support safe and stable operation within aircraft electrical power systems.
Test Scope Scope
- Assessment of load limits and inrush current limits.
- Verification of current distortion limits and current spectrum limits.
Technical Approach Process
- The LDC101 Load Measurements Test is conducted in accordance with MIL-STD-704 requirements.
- During the test, the utilization equipment shall not be damaged and shall not create any unsafe condition.
Typical Applications Use
- Military aircraft electrical power systems.
- Aviation equipment operating on a 28 VDC power architecture.
At our STEST facility in Ankara, accredited by TURKAK, the LDC101 Load Measurements Test is performed in accordance with TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 within the scope of the MIL-STD-704 Aircraft Electric Power Characteristics standard.
