Humidity Test

Humidity testing is performed to evaluate a product’s resistance to high humidity and condensation conditions. This test is particularly critical for electronic devices, defense equipment, and outdoor systems.

Objective Purpose

  • To measure the effects of high humidity and condensation on materials, electronic components, and mechanical systems.
  • To verify sealing performance, insulation integrity, and functional operation.
  • To assess product reliability under prolonged exposure to humid environments.

Test Scope Scope

  • Durability assessment under high humidity and condensation conditions.
  • Application of test conditions aimed at verifying functional performance.

Technical Implementation Process

  • Humidity tests are conducted in accordance with MIL-STD-810, RTCA DO-160, IEC, ISO, EN, ETSI, ASTM, and other applicable national and international standards.
  • For functional testing, all sample interfaces are routed to the laboratory via the humidity test setup’s hermetic ports.
  • The product is tested by accurately simulating real humidity conditions.

Application Areas Use

  • Electronic devices, defense equipment, and outdoor systems.
  • Products and subsystems that may be exposed to high humidity and condensation conditions.

As part of our STEST facility located in Ankara and accredited by TURKAK, we perform the Humidity Test in accordance with the TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard.
