Standard Control and Testing Services
2017 · Establishment

Standard Control and Testing Services was established in Istanbul as a fully independent test center, primarily focused on Military and Civil Testing activities in Türkiye.

2018

With one of the largest privately funded test facilities in Türkiye in terms of volume and capacity utilization, STEST rapidly positioned itself among the leading companies in the sector, providing testing services to numerous domestic and international organizations.

2019

STEST was officially designated as an ATP Test Center for Insulated Equipment and Device Type Testing under an agreement signed with TSE.

2021

Following the TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 audit conducted by TÜRKAK (Turkish Accreditation Agency), STEST became one of Türkiye’s largest testing infrastructures, established on a total area of 6,000 m².

2023

STEST was awarded the Facility Security Clearance Certificate following comprehensive security audits conducted by authorized authorities affiliated with the Ministry of National Defense. These audits thoroughly evaluated the company’s physical security infrastructure, information and document security systems, personnel reliability, management processes of classified projects, as well as risk and emergency procedures. With this capability, STEST provides authorized, reliable, and fully compliant testing and engineering solutions for projects requiring high levels of security and confidentiality, particularly within the defense industry.

2024

As a result of the scope extension audit conducted by TÜRKAK various automotive testing parameters—including EN 10263, EU 2015/208, ECE R10, and numerous European Union (EU) standards—were included within the accreditation scope. Consequently, the laboratory expanded its accredited scope to a total of 77 test parameters, including 23 automotive test parameters, enabling it to provide services and solution partnerships to a wide range of national and international institutions in accordance with more than 100 recognized standards.

2025

Following the scope extension audits conducted by TÜRKAK, the accreditation scope was expanded to include a total of 111 parameters, comprising 23 automotive standards, 26 maritime standards, 9 NATO standards, and 53 military standards. In addition, in order to ensure the highest level of measurement reliability, internal calibration activities were also brought within the accreditation scope, thereby institutionally guaranteeing traceability and accuracy across all testing and measurement processes.
