Emitted Voltage Surges Test
MIL-STD-1275 D/E/F
MIL-STD-1275 28V DC Input Power Specifications for Devices Used in Military Vehicles The D/E/F military standard also includes the "Emitted Voltage Surges Test" to measure the durability of electronic devices used in the vehicle against voltage fluctuations.
In the Emitted Voltage Surges Test, voltage fluctuations occurring due to the vehicle engine or other reasons are applied to electronic devices designed to be used in military vehicles and how these devices react to these applied fluctuations is measured. During the Voltage Fluctuations Diffusion Test, the voltage waveform and frequency are selected in accordance with MIL-STD-1275 D/E/F standards.
During the Emitted Voltage Surges Test, the electronic devices used in the vehicle are exposed to the determined voltage waveform and the functionality of each device is monitored. To ensure that the devices are working correctly, especially critical functions are checked to ensure they are working correctly.
Emitted Voltage Surges Test is an important test to ensure that electronic devices used in military vehicles are protected against voltage surges. Emitted Voltage Surges Test aims to increase vehicle safety by ensuring that the electronic devices in the vehicle remain intact and operate correctly.
